My sincere condolences to the Malone family. George and I served in the 187th Airborne RCT in Korea and although we did not know each other then, we were in the same places at the same times. I met him and Eleanor in 1967 and we have remained close friends ever since. George proudly wore the wings of a Master Paratrooper. Upon the death of President Kennedy, George was selected as part of an engineering detail to install the Eternal Flame at the President's grave site in Arlington National Cemetery....just a small part of his distinguished career. I will miss the many talks we had over the years, his friendship, and his wonderful sense of humor. Rest in Peace, my friend.
