We knew Joan because she drove Aurora to The Adirondack School for classes every day for 3 years. She was a wonderful mix of discipline and kindness for those kids. And she always had a nice thing to say when I dropped Aurora off. (She was also very kind about holding the bus for an extra minute if we were late.) In just those brief conversations, it became obvious to me that Joan was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. The world is a bit darker without her in it.
May your memories of her comfort you at this hard time. Bernice and Aurora Moeller

We are saddened to hear about Joan. She was always there to lend a hand and support us when we still had "Lil Joey" with us. She always made time for anyone who needed her help. She ruled with a stiff finger and a huge smile. Her family was everything to her. God Bless and thank you for all of our memories. You will be missed by so many that you have touched the hearts of over the years.
