Mae Thompson Emeneth


Mae Thompson Emeneth, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017. Born in Keeseville, NY on May 4, 1926, she was the daughter of Elmer and Alice Hamlin.

Mae worked at the Ballston Knitting Mill for many years, and retired from Kingsway Arms where she worked as a nurse’s aide. She enjoyed camping, crocheting and playing cards with her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband Charles Thompson, second husband Charles Emeneth, and her sisters Virginia Lirosi, Pauline Bowers and Lillian Barber.

Mae is survived by her children Alice Crosbie (James) of Arizona, Diana Murray of Ballston Spa and Sue Thompson Stone of Ballston Spa; grandchildren Brian Crosbie, Christina Benavidez, Chad Chervin, Christopher Murray and Jodi Dillenbeck; great grandchildren Michael, Zachary, Chad, Draven, Layne, Jack, Makayla, Ryan, Devin, Emily, Abraham, Joey and Isaac; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, February 9 from 10am to 12 noon at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street , Ballston Spa. A service will be held at 12noon. Burial will follow in the Ballston Spa Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Mae may be made to The Community Hospice, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144.
