So sorry for what Rodney's family and friends are going through. It is so tragic when a great and young guy like Rodney leaves so soon. The world just lost someone who made this a better place. He will be missed by all. I only regret that I couldn't have spent more time with him, but geography was an obstacle.

Rodney,
You truly are a wonderful man. Your love towards your "Queen", family, and friends was amazing, anyone would be envious. You are very kind and would give the shirt off your back as well as you served as a protector of law, which speaks volumes of your integrity, sense of community and family. I thank you. I'm so truly grateful to have known you. Your sense of humor was outstanding, I always had sore cheeks and sore abs from all the laughter around you. Thank you. You made me laugh and demonstrated a way of life I want to lead. RIP my friend and I know you will always look down and be a protector of your loved ones and you will never be too far or forgotten. My thought and prayers are with you and your dear family. May peace be with you.

I always looked up to Rodney as a kid, growing up a few years behind him at Burnt Hills. Later I worked out of the same station with him at the Sheriff's office. He made me laugh every single shift. I will forever remember all the good times we had. Rest In Peace my friend.

Rose and Alex King

We were both saddened by the news of Rodneys passing. He was the kindest and friendliest man we had ever met. He was truly one of a kind. He always smiled and was so upbeat. It isnt going to be the same driving around Corinth and not seeing him around. Stay strong and know in time, you will heal. RIP Big Man, you are missed....

I am so sorry, Heidi. Rod was a great guy with a kind heart and quick wit! He was always looking out for and taking care of the people of Corinth and often kept me informed of what was going on there. I'm lucky to have called him a friend. I'll miss him. He won't ever be forgotten.

Our families have been beautifully tied to by the lake with such wonderful friendships as we have all adored Rodney. Rodney always had such a gentle way with a beautiful smile as he took care of everything for all of us neighbors on the Lake.
We cannot imagine life without seeing Rodney next door as he would visit his Mom and Dad along with his beautiful family as he would make his rounds lending a helping hand to all of us.
Rodney was that person that everyone loved to say hello to because he always took the time to share back.
Rodney is in our hearts forever and will be missed greatly by all
Much love and sadness
