Sally M. Adams


At just three months past her 83rd birthday, Sally M. Adams, passed peacefully from this life. Born in Moira, NY on August 22, 1934, she was the only child of Wallace and Gladys McCune.

Though she earned a degree in Nursing from SUNY Plattsburgh in 1956, she chose to devote her life to the upbringing of her four children. Sally enjoyed sewing and knitting. She was a Saratoga County 4-H Leader and was actively involved in the 4-H with her children for two decades. She treasured the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

Sally is survived by her children Scott Adams of Ballston Spa, Nancy Adams (Thomas Novellino) of Savannah, TN, Janet Wright (Lee) of Savannah, TN and Dan Adams (Lisa) of Hampton, GA; grandchildren Chris Adams, Danny Adams, Ashley Adams, Harrison Adams, Bridger Adams, Taylor Wright, and Robbie Wright; and her longtime companion Bud Adams.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 17 from 4pm to 6pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sally may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 or Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga Co, 50 West High Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020 to benefit the Saratoga Co 4-H.
