Sandy and I have been friends since elementary school. I recently found a little autograph book from when we were kids. She wrote me not one but four poems. That's the kind of person she was. I was so happy to reconnect with her a couple of years ago. A lovely lady who is gone too soon. Condolences to her family.

Sandy and I taught together at Country View Childcare in Wilton Developmental Center
She loved children was a wonderful friend, smart, kind and generous. We used to dance and sing
to "The Hokey Pokey" with the children. When my husband Pete and I bought our farm in Porters
Corners. Sandy came to visit and surprised me with 2 chickens! Which we fondly named, "Hokey"
and "Pokey", I love you Sandy and will miss you dearly. Blair I'm so sorry for your loss, my
prayers are with you and your family.

I have so many stories about Sandy. She was at the Gala last March.... our family was paying for the open bar, and when my husband saw the line was too long to get a drink, she said "I'll handle this!" She butt every one in line to get my husband his drink. She took great delight in telling me that story when she was in the hospital. She was badass, I will miss her

I am so saddened hearing of Sandy's death. Sandy was a woman who loved every child in her care to life. There's a ray of sunshine missing in life, yet a beautiful star in the heavens shining on us all. She is at peace resting in the arms of her God. I am blessed to have known her.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was one in a million. I loved her dearly. I considered her a close friend, and you don't find many people in your life that can fill that role. But she sure did. She would do anything for you at any time. She taught all 3 of our children and they all loved her. She always had a smile and let you know that she was genuinely happy to see you. We are all going to miss her. She will live on forever in our hearts as part of our St Mary's family. You will be in our prayers to find peace and comfort during this most difficult time.
