I am so sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with Ann's entire family. I miss her laugh everyday. I first met Ann when she came with her friend Linda to our Chinese mahjong group. They wanted to know how to play. They were fascinated with the colorful and strange looking tiles but they were very quick learners and they were very competitive even though we laughed through it all and had such a great time. The group became great friends and would hardly miss a weekly meeting and a chance to play. Ann came to my granddaughter’s HS graduation party in 2017 at Saratoga Lake and I will always remember playing with her on that day and how much fun we had teaching others who were interested in learning. Our entire family remembers Ann, her generosity and her friendly and kind spirit. Not only did Ann and I share a love of mahjong, we also loved to cook. She brought wonderful casseroles to the senior lunches, and we attended the dance classes at the senior center together. She was such a good friend always and a great lady! I miss her.

I never knew Ann personally, but my mom, Betty Haskell, spoke of Anne and Neil often. Anne and Neil were good friends to my parents (Betty and Bill), and their names came up repeatedly during my childhood. I know this is a difficult time, but I wish your entire family peace. May the Light Everlasting shine upon Ann as she joins the rest of her family in Heaven, and may you all be comforted in knowing that you will one day be reunited with her.
