Annabella R. Brown

Annabella Remington Brown 93 of Ballston Spa, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012. Born in Waterford, February 10, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Dora Allen Remington LaTour and Orange Remington.

Annabella was active with her family, friends and country living. She was a Brownie Leader, 4H Leader and Home Bureau instructor and enjoyed teaching sewing, arts and crafts, floral arranging, cake decorating, and beeswax candle making. She was well known for her beautiful rock gardens and doll collection.

She was predeceased by her husband, Philip T. Brown, sister, Blanche Fairfield, and grandson, Edward Brian Perkins. Annabella is survived by her children, Linda Butchino, Susan Monahan, William Brown, Gerald Brown, Richard Brown, Walter Brown and Robert Brown, 19 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 7 nieces and nephews, and 2 sisters in law.

Funeral services will be held 11am Wednesday, March 28, at Armer Funeral Home, Inc 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy. A calling hour will precede the service from 10-11am at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maplewood Manor, 149 Ballston Avenue, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
