Annie V. Baugh

Annie V. Baugh, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2021, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Sea Gate, North Carolina, on October 16, 1922, to John and Goldie Johnson, and lived most of her adult life in Middle Grove and Saratoga Springs, New York.

Annie graduated high school and married John in 1940. After raising her children, she was employed by the NYS Department of Tax and Finance and retired as a supervisor.

She was a longtime member of the Greenfield Center Baptist Church. Her family and her deep and abiding faith were central to her life, and she was unfailingly kind, generous, and caring. Annie loved spending time with her family and friends, whether it be shopping, sharing meals, or attending services.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Goldie Johnson, husband John A. Baugh, Jr., son John A. Baugh, III, and her brothers John, Lawrence and Buddy Johnson.

Annie is survived by her loving children Vicki Bundy (Jim) and David Baugh; was beloved mother-in-law to Patricia Baugh, Thomas Barss, and Roxanne Baugh; much loved grandmother to Carrie, Camie (Joseph), Charitie (Dale), Jordan (Angelle), Aaron, and Jessica (Joseph); great grandmother to Brianna, Sonja, Andrew, Nathan, Autumn, Emma, Evan and Jacqueline; great great grandmother to Bradley, Caden, and Zoey; and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, August 5 from 5pm to 7pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Funeral services will be held 10am Friday, August 6 at Greenfield Center Baptist Church, 30 Wilton Road, Greenfield Center. Burial will follow in Middle Grove Cemetery.
