Went to U of R with Art and just found out about his passing as it was mentioned in the school alumnae magazine. This is hard news to swallow. We all loved him and will miss him. I know I speak for all his college friends in saying he will be long remembered and sorely missed.

As a co-worker, I so enjoyed having lunch with Art and seeing his photos and hearing about his latest climbing adventures and upcoming plans. Just out his office window there is a marvelous view of the mountains and I know he's now a beautiful part of that!

Sitting here, still stunned, in disbelief. Art was my closest friend since kindergarten, If you knew Art you knew what he was about. Always spoke his mind, always spoke of his family. I still assume he has a perfect family as he never had a negative thing to say about them. The memories of the past just keep coming to my remembrance, am going to miss him .

I still can't believe it. I love all of you and even though I am not there in person, I am in my heart. All my love, Cheryl
