I have so many fond memories of summer clam bake parties at Aunt Judy and Uncle Ben’s country home in Galway. All day swimming in the pond followed by endless hotdogs and homemade claim chowder by the gallons surrounded by my cousins and grandparents, parents and brother and sister. At the time and as a little kid you do not realize how very special this time was and how much it helped to form you as a person. The time with family then and now is our foundation, our footing if you will and it is from that footing that we build a life. I am grateful to my Aunt Judy, Uncle Ben, my own immediate and extended family for my footing and a cherished childhood memories, the foundation of my life.

God bless you Uncle Ben and glad you are with my mom and dad.
Lots of love, Larry and Greg

Dear Judy and Family, I was saddened to see of Ben's passing. I am sure you don't know who I am, but I was 19 when I worked with Ben at Otis Elevator in Schenectady. We had a lot of fun together. May God give you strength at this most difficult time. Most Sincerely, Jeanie Mangino VanNest
