I am so sorry for the loss of your mom/grandmother. Cathy (Mimi) was the kindest and sweetest soul and one of the best people I’ve ever met. She endured so much yet remained so kind and gentle. Mimi as we called her, was the best step mom and grandmother anyone could ask for. Her beautiful smile and her laugh is something I will miss so much. Mimi made everyone feel at ease when being around her. We have so many wonderful memories that we will cherish always.
Your mom/grandmother was a special woman and there was no one else like her in this world. This world has lost an angel on earth that now is in heaven with your sister/aunt. She can hold her baby girl again and that and knowing she is not in pain or struggling to do anything anymore is what will help to get through each day.
I am so thankful that she and my dad found each other and had 25 years together. They had many wonderful adventures/trips together and beautiful moments shared. We are grateful and have been truly blessed that we were able to love and be loved by such a special woman. We love her so much and we feel so heartbroken.
We wish we could attend Cathy’s/Mimi’s services however due dads’ health we will not be able to attend, but we will be with you all in spirit. My dad is having a very difficult time as well with this but trying to remind himself she is no longer in pain and with her loved ones again (Lisa, her mom and Rit etc.). I do believe with every fiber of my being, that we will see her again one day, smiling, happy and at peace surrounded by everything and everyone she loved dearly.
Our deepest condolences to you and the family during this time.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
