Charles W. Askew


Charles W. Askew, 64, passed away on Saturday, October 27, 2018. Born in Ballston Spa, NY on October 20, 1954, he was the son of Clarence and Reita Askew.

Chaz worked for The Lawn Guy Landscape Management, LLC in Saratoga Springs. He loved his job and when he wasn’t working, he could be found tinkering and puttering around his home or at his work.

Chaz loved kids and treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren and his adopted grandchildren.

He was predeceased by the love of his life Starlene Nadolny, his parents Clarence and Reita Askew, and his siblings Gary Askew, Philip Askew, Deborah Holmes and Cheryl Keister.

Chaz is survived by his children Shane Nadolny and Saffire Askew-Luciano (Scott); grandchildren Aviana Nadolny, Sakarah Gilboy, Jerdyn Gilboy, Azalya Luciano and Foster Luciano; Brian Phillips (Trisha) and their children Riley, Raelyn and Jameson who were like family to him; siblings Douglas Askew, Madeline Waller, Jeffery Askew, Gail Askew, Dennis Askew and Joseph Askew; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date.
