Aunt Diane and Jim,

My heart and prayers are with you. Cliff was a special Man, a devoted Husband and Father and committed member of his community. I have many happy memories from childhood thru adulthood of my Uncle. He was always so loving and supportive. I will miss his big laugh and how much fun he had re-telling my NY adventure stories. Rest In Peace Uncle Cliff.

Cliff was one of the first people we met in Malta when my wife and I moved here in 1993. He gave us a very warm welcome. It seemed that, for Cliff, every day was a sunny day, and that his congeniality rubbed off on everyone. We kidded each other about our respective politics (he was a Republican, I'm a Democrat). I couldn't turn him down when he asked if I would put up one of his signs in our front yard when he ran for re-election. Very sorry to hear of his passing, and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Diane and Jimmy,
Sending condolences from Preston Van Patten and his children. We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Cliff. For many years, Cliff was our parent's Insurance Agent and always visited them. He became a "regular" at their very busy house, sometimes even showing up just for lunch. He loved my dad's tunafish & piccalilli sandwiches.
His friendship with our family has and never will be forgotten. RIP Cliff

My uncle had an infectious laugh that lit up the room, and a sense of humor just as big. I have a lifetime of good memories that will live on within my children and I. We are all very sad he is no longer a part of this world but grateful he is in a better place and at peace now. We are also very grateful to my aunt and God for getting him home to be with his family for Christmas and be able to go peacefully in his own home that is a well-deserved gift many do not get. He was one of a kind and we will all miss him.
