David A. Lavertue


David A. Lavertue, 56, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019. He was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on June 15, 1963 and moved to Ballston Spa in 2000.

David worked for “Dave’s I Got It” traveling to many fairs setting up concessions and rides. He enjoyed the great outdoors, hiking and target shooting. He also liked to travel and never let the sand settle under his feet.

David is survived by his son David Lavertue, II of New York; grandchildren Trey Lagrave, Miranda Lavertue, Ethan Lavertue, Leland Lavertue and Jacob Lavertue all of New York; parents William and Lorraine Lavertue of Florida; sister Robin Meadows (John) of Massachusetts; brother Shawn Lavertue (Penny) of Florida, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, September 4 from 11am to noon at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A service will be held at noon. Burial will follow in Ballston Spa Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of David may be made to the American Cancer Society.
