Earl L. Fitzgerald

Earl L. Fitzgerald 97, passed away on Sunday, June 6, 2021. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut on February 2, 1924 to John and Albina Fitzgerald. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II.

Earl worked as a cook in many places around the United States, from Sea Idle in Miami to the Hotel Starlet in Boston. He often spoke of running a diner with his mother in Marblehead, Massachusetts. He retired as a cook from Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs. Earl enjoyed the simple things in life, gardening, winemaking, listening to music, swimming and good conversation.

On March 30, 1957, Earl dedicated his life to his God Jehovah. Earl devoted the rest of his life to using the bible to help people come to know the creator Jehovah. He conducted many bible studies over the years and enjoyed spending his time in the full time ministry alongside many friends. Earl spoke at the dedication of the Kingdom Hall in 1971 at V Corners in Ballston Spa, and again was present when a new Kingdom Hall was dedicated on Goode Street in Ballston Spa in 1989.

Earl is predeceased by his parents John and Albina, his loving wife Delia, and his brothers Paul and John. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gail and I truly enjoyed being in the Congregation with Earl. He was an awesome Public Speaker and it was obvious that he loved Jehovah very much.
