Gerald Kenneth Petruzzelli

Jerry had a long list of titles - providing father, devoted son, caring brother, cherished grandfather and beloved husband. Always responsible and hardworking, he loved nature and spending a summer weekend fishing. He enjoyed watching afternoon Yankees games, and a good book, and had a surprising soft spot for animals. He was an excellent cook, spending many happy hours in the kitchen with his wife, Sharon. He was proud to have served his country through his time with the United States Army. Because of his often stoic nature, many were caught off guard by his well-timed playful humor. A wealth of knowledge, he enjoyed helping and teaching his children and grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

Jerry is survived by his wife Sharon and their children Cora Dotson (Chad), Jerry Petruzzelli, Charles Petruzzelli (Cindy); grandchildren Chris, Layla, Cori and Gabe; mother Thelma Petruzzelli; siblings Glen Petruzzelli (Debra), and Charlene Davis (Mike).

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, December 17 from 2pm to 4pm at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa.

I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry was always so kind and such a wonderful person. He had a lot of compassion for others. Jerry would be at our warehouse in Albany quite often to work on ATM's and he always had stories to tell. I will remember him with great fondness.
