I am so sad that Elaine is gone. She always had a smile for everyone, along with kindness, generosity and laughter. For all of Elaine's children, Lorie, Mark, Tim, and Beth, I send my sincere, heart felt condolences. The Grandchildren will miss her so much. And I hope the Great grandchildren will grow up to remember their special Grandmother. And Tom, you know that she will always be with you in spirit, love and cherished memories. I'm glad that you have such wonderful children to help you, and each other through this difficult time.

My thoughts, love and prayers are with all of you.
With sympathy,

The Michelin Family

Our family will greatly miss seeing Elaine at our restaurant. My husband got to know her when he was in school many years ago and many years later, I became friends with Mary & Tim, and then, Beth. In the comings and goings at Waldorf, through Whalen family gatherings, and at the restaurant, we were always pleased to see Elaine and enjoyed lovely conversations with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone she leaves behind.

I was very saddened to hear about the passing of Elaine. She was always kind to me when I used to visit back in the old days. She always made me a tuna sandwich, and it was always delicious. Actually, they were the best tuna sandwiches I ever had.

I know she will be sorely missed, but I also know she will be watching over all of you from above...especially her favorite, Tim.

Kidding :)

I think of Elaine often. We worked together at Skidmore's UWW, and I always loved the talks we had together.
We talked about family, and about love, and life. She taught me a lot.

It was an added treat to see her and Tom, later, at Waldorf school events. A beam of light.

She is -- was -- a special gal.
All my best to the whole family.

For as long as I can remember, Elaine has been in the circle of people I know. Growing up on Lowell Street, she lived with both her Grandmother and Uncle. A few years ago, with her Cousin Jack Hyatt, Elaine and Tom hosted us for dinner...a delicious meal and a sense that we had all be friends forever.

My prayers are with you, Elaine's family. May the memories of her good life be a deep comfort at this time.

Marlene Denison

Tom & family, my condolences to each and everyone of you. Elaine was a classmate, life time friend and a old neighbor. Watched our family's grow to great adults on Margaret Drive. We will miss her as you will , she was a special friend.
Bless you all! Mrs.D.
