Dianne and the entire Elston family,

Our hearts are broken to learn the news of Wayne’s passing. We treasure fond memories of the get-togethers we used to have. From years ago in HS and College, Wayne was a friend and a brother. May you have peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Never was good with words, so I apologize up front.
As my brother in law Wayne made me feel good about myself, all through the awkward teen years when no one else did..
He liked life and he made the most of every opportunity to enjoy every day.
Always smiling, cutting cute jokes. He was so funny to me. Cannot think of Wayne without smiling myself. Godly man in all aspects. I will truly miss him. He may be playing hockey or basketball with the angels now that he is free of that chair.
Praying for you Dianne and Shelley and Jeff. See you later Wayne, you were such a blessing..
Bill thought the world of Wayne. Wish my daughters could have spent more time around Uncle Wayne.
Love you all.

I worked the 4 to 12 shift at General Electric and found Pastor Wayne's radio bible program to be such an encouragement as I drove home at the midnight hour. His voice coming over the radio was calm and humble and he made me smile as he taught the Word. I wonder how many others he touched with his radio program. Both my kids got there beginnings at BFC and as we took a step of faith, we started the program "SENT". Pastor put the words to this program and called it Servants Evangelizing Nations Together. Will never forget those days. One morning we were chatting about computers and for whatever reason he told me what his password was! I'll never forget it and he surely is exactly that! (For Dianne's ears only)
Rest in peace and rest now with the Lord Pastor Wayne.
Our loss, his gain.
