James C. Pittochi


James C. Pittochi 77, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 20, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ. He married Constance Brennan on April 4, 1964.

Jim started his career as a computer specialist with RCA in New Jersey. In the late 1980’s, he relocated to Malta, NY to work for General Electric, eventually retiring from Met Life. Jim enjoyed every aspect of life; he saw the beauty in all of nature, had a true love for music and loved his dog McDuff, however, the most important thing to him was sharing a life with his family.

He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Eileen Pittochi. Jim is survived by his beloved wife Constance, who he lovingly referred to as “My Con”. He is also survived by their loving daughters, Lisa Brown (Tom), Jeanette Pittochi, and Michelle Pittochi (Freddie Reed); his nephew and “summer son”, Jeffrey Miller (Gina); grandchildren Gabrielle Pittochi (Shawn Archer), Ryan Fahey, Tanner Pittochi, Nicholas Reed and Margueritte Pittochi; great grandchildren Ryleigh and Decker Archer; as well as his nieces and nephews and extended family.

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 9:30am on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at St. Mary’s Church, Milton Avenue, Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Saratoga Springs. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 14th from 1pm to 5pm. Please feel free to reach out to family for a pre-determined location.

Memorial contributions in memory of Jim may be made to The Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Jim’s family would like to thank all the nurses and staff from Hospice who devoted their time to provide the utmost care, love and respect. To name a few who truly added light to his days Justine, Arlene, Danielle, Jill and Teresa.
