I was so sad to hear of John's passing. He was a kind, fair and hardworking man. I refer to his style and leadership at the State Comptroller's Office when we look to make changes and improvements. I so enjoyed working for him.

I recently was going through boxes of letters and cards I saved over the years. A couple were from John. He sent one to me and one to my mother (in Italian). There are pictures, too, of the office parties with John being a good sport. Know that memories of John are shared with the many who knew and loved him. That's the impact he had on us, and he probably didn't even know it.

My deepest condolences, Georgie, Mike, Sue and family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, John.

John was a wonderful person, an excellent executive in New York State government, and a great family oriented husband and father. I worked with and for John in some of his governmental positions ... he was the kind we all want, professional, understanding, efficient, strong, fair, goal oriented and high achiever. John and Georgiana were great with whom to socialize ... there were four couples of us who met regularly at our homes for evenings out, with many stories and lots of laughs. Georgiana, we wish you strength in this time of grieving, knowing that John was such a wonderful person and that he is now in heaven.

I was sorry to hear of Johns passing. We worked together many years ago at the State Comptrollers Office and I’ve thought several times over the years what a decent person he was and that I was lucky to have gotten my working career started with such a good boss. Rest In Peace John.

I was so sorry to hear of your recent loss of your beloved husband John. I know that the last few years have been very difficult for you and your family. John is finally at peace and with the Angels. He was a wonderful man and I enjoyed playing bridge with the two of you. He will be missed.

Our hearts are heavy, and saddened learning the loss of big Uncle John. We were blessed to share many family gatherings, reunions, and even shared our special wedding together 11-11-11. My father, Harry, speaks highly of him, and John is in his thoughts. Words cannot express the heartache and sorrow, please be joyful of his life. May God's grace and peace shine over each of you during this difficult time. Rest peacefully Uncle John, until we meet again.
