Pat--I just found out about John's passing yesterday, so sorry for you loss.

Our sincere condolences to all of John’s family and his many friends. We’re so sad to hear of his passing, but take comfort in the many good memories we have of him...the numerous card games that lasted well into the nights at our kitchen table or out in Kelly & Rick’s garage, the cook outs, the storytelling and just flat out fun loving times with good friends and loved ones. We’ll miss him, but we’re smiling as we write...thinking about how “old poker face” would celebrate and make everyone laugh after he’d taken down a big pot. RIP “Fatty” were one of a kind, the best kind.

Some of my favorite memories as a kid involve you. You were my “couch”. You would come see my Dad after he got home from work, but I would make you sit on the couch so I could sit on your lap and make you read books to me. We just talked this past Christmas how we needed to keep the family parties going and how we missed Uncle Larry. On Memorial Day we were at my parents as we always are and I just kept waiting for you to drive up your moms driveway. So sad. Miss you so much. I, of all people, should know life is not guaranteed, I guess I just became complacent. I will do better from now on. So much love to you Couch, gonna miss you so very much. In the meantime, get the family together and party your asses off, like the Kilburn’s do!

We grew up together experiencing life from high school and beyond then as life took us in other directions we still remembered our fun times when we ran into each other. My friend there is never enough time to do what we need to but know that you will be missed by so many and especially me.
