Jonah, there are so many things I can say about you. The way you laugh, the way you smile, the way you care about everyone... You are so amazing and touched so many people. I wish you could've seen it earlier. I will never forget our drives late at night, just listening to Cigarettes After Sex and talking about life. You understood so much about me and never once turned me away. I would've walked to the ends of the Earth for you. I love you so much, Jonah. I'm so sorry that there wasn't more time. I still have the Polaroid that we took on the roof of the parking garage when we sophomores in high school. I sleep with it under my pillow so that I know you're not too far away. I love you and I miss you so so much. You better be looking down at everyone, you dummy. See you on the other side. <3

I always enjoyed Jonah when he visited us at Skidmore. He was always engaged and offered insightful comments. It was clear that he had a kind and gentle soul.

I met him through my daughter Xaviera, they were friends in high school. He was always such a kind and respectful young man when he visited my home. Xaviera notified me early Saturday morning from Japan of Jonah's passing. My heart is sadden and my prayers and condolences are sent out to Cindy and the family. God Bless you all.

Jonah is engrained in my memory as a pure and kind soul. Throughout the years I knew him through school, he never hesitated to share a smile with me. Whenever he saw me in the hallways he would offer a friendly hello. You will he missed by all Jonah, I hope things are better now.

Jonah and I rode the same bus from middle school throughout high school, he was one of the nicest and kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He always wanted to improve himself, and through improving himself he made the lives of the people around him better as well. A couple friends and I saw Jonah at the race track this past summer, and he was just as friendly and joyful as he has always been, and it was great to see him for the first time in a while. I have always considered Jonah to be a friend of mine since middle school, he told the funniest stories and was the most genuine soul I knew. My heart is heavy with the news of his passing, I wish I got to say goodbye to him and told him how much he means to my friends and I, he truly was an amazing human being. We'll miss you Jonah. <3

Hi Buddy,
You will be dearly missed! I will always remember the past 6 years! The great discussions, love of music, the hikes in the mountains, the supportive listening and advice you provided me while I was ill, and the laughs and the happy times. You were the best friend and son I never had! And the great walks at night "stargazing".
I know that you will continue to be here in Spirit for all of us who knew and loved. I love you and I am very saddened by our loss of you from our lives here on this beautiful, gorgeous planet Earth. Love, Bob

Although Jonah and I have not talked since our time at SSHS, I have so many fond memories of him that I still carry with me today. He was always so eager to give advice and help me through difficult times even though we were not exceptionally close. I especially remember how much I looked up to him academically; in our AP Language class he always made thoughtful speeches and had exceptional points about literature. All around, Jonah was a wonderful man and a wonderful friend. I wish his family and loved ones all the best and I will pray that his soul finds rest. Sending all my love and well wishes to his family.

Jonah will be missed. He touched and influenced many. The world sorely needs more of his type within it, and will surely be less a lot of love without him.

My friend/lab partner you are missed. Lab days are hard without you. We only knew each other for a short time, but it was fun and provided me with what I needed at school, someone I could relate with. I’m glad you talked me into staying at school despite my failures while you aced every test/quiz. Im going to continue pursuing a PharmD because that’s what you would’ve wanted for me. I just wish you were here to help me along the way. Rest easy.

He will be missed. Last time I talked to him he was talking about being a pharmacist. I told him he make alot of money. He said that was the plan. He told me how he worked at CVS in Saratoga and I mentioned how I saw him there a few times. He took his job there very seriously. I always thought he was older bc he was so mature. God bless him and his family I hadn't seen him in about a month but bless him and his family the last time you see someone you never realized it will be the last time :(
