So sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We shall miss him and our over the fence chats. We have been neighbors with the Doyle's since 1969 when we moved onto Hannum St. Since that time we have had Doyle chats on our fence line. It started with Charlie and after his death with Joe. I shall miss him asking how Red is doing, finding out about his garden, how much he enjoyed eating fresh veggies! We also had lengthy chats about his illness. Dan, we hope we can have a few more Doyle chats at the fence!!! We shall miss Joe!!

Kathy and Larry Rooney (neighbors)

To the family of Joe, Larry and I moved in at 67 Middle in 1979 when Chuck and Bertha were still in the family home. However I grew up around the corner at 71 Division St. My maiden name is Gawrys. One of 6 kids. I remember Chuck fixing our TV's and it was great as an adult to move across from such great people. We will truly miss Joe his warm greetings and humor. We hope he didn't suffer and are saddened that his time was so short. Let us know if we can do anything for you. Kathy and Larry Rooney
