Kathleen E. McCann


Kathleen E. McCann 66, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at her home. She was born in Ballston Spa, New York on February 4, 1955 to Worden and Eleanor Russ. A lifelong resident of Ballston Spa, she was a graduate of Ballston Spa High School and Schenectady County Community College.

Kathy was an activities leader at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She enjoyed listening to music and traveling with her husband. She loved spending time with her dogs and spoiled them whenever she could.

Kathy is survived by her husband Jim; brother Dr. Clifford Russ (Vilma); nephews Eric and Nicholas; and her beloved dog Cooper. She was predeceased by her parents Worden and Eleanor Russ.

Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour from 10am to 11am on Wednesday, November 10 at Armer Funeral Home, Inc. 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A service will be held at 11am. Burial will follow in Ballston Spa Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in memory of Kathy may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020. Online remembrances may be made at www.armerfuneralhome.com
