Lisa lived in our neighborhood, just down the street, for many years. She liked to walk a lot and would pass by quite often on her outings, she even took care of our house and pets on several occasions while we were on vacations over the years. We are shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. She was always pleasant to talk to and always interested in all the families that live on our street. You could say that Lisa was a fixture in our neighborhood and will be lovingly missed.

Lisa was one of the kindest, most gentle people I’ve ever known. She loved children and animals and was a wonderful, caring friend who always had a smile and nice things to say. I miss her laughter and the fun memories. It’s been over a month but the loss feels as fresh as yesterday. I’m honored to have been a friend to such a thoughtful, kind person. I’ll miss you forever, Lisa Poitras.

Lisa...I'll never forget the sleepovers at Collamer Heights and the crazy things we did. We were young then, that's our excuse. I really enjoyed your Facebook posts and wish you could have made it to our reunion. I hope your cat is in good care. Rest in peace, and see you on the other side of the bridge!
