Mrs. Knuth was one of my most favorite teachers of all my years in school. She was my teacher at Milton Terrace and I loved her so much. I always remembered how comfortable and happy she made me, although I was really a shy kid. I also loved when she read to us, it was a favorite part of my day in 2nd and 3rd grade. I recall her reading Kon Tiki and I - which help spawn my fascination with travel and exploration and Easter Island and Thor Heyerdahl...

She will always be one of my most beloved teachers and a favorite part of my elementary school experience.

I was sorry to hear about Martha's passing. She was a good friend to my mother. We were pleased when she arrived at our Church on Easter Sunday several years ago. She was a very nice person and I will remember her as that.
