Michele A. Post

Michele A. Post, “Bula” 62, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Born in Kingston, New York on June 18, 1956, she was the daughter of Elmer and Patricia Canastra, Sr.

Michele worked at Saratoga Bridges for many years. She was an animal lover, taking care of her dogs and granddogs. She enjoyed camping, picnics with her family, and doing yardwork with her husband. Christmas and holidays were special to her, she loved entertaining her family.

She was predeceased by her parents Elmer and Patricia, her son Mark Barnaby, and her brother Timothy Canastra. Michele is survived by her beloved husband Joseph “Joey” Post; children Anita Barnaby (Christopher Cutter), Tarressa Lynch (Michael), and JoAnn Pratt (Tommy); grandchildren Allie, Daniel Jr., Darty, Kayleigh, Analyse, and Emma; great granddaughter Gianna; brothers Elmer Canastra, Jr., and Anthony Canastra; sister Colleen Williams; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 3 from 10 am to 11am at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A service will follow at 11am.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Rubin Dialysis Center, 59 Myrtle Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the center for their care and compassion.
