I was sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was a great man and will be missed by everyone who knew him. I was so glad to have run into him and catch up a bit about a year ago at the hardware store. I'm sorry I could not make it to the wake last weekend.

Sue, I am so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I did your Mom's hair for years and always marveled at how devoted your Dad was to her. Hope all is well with you.

Condolences to Daughter Susan and Bob’s extended Family. Our dear brother Bob clearly understood the depravity associated with his humanity and, in humble obedience accepted for his life, the grace provided by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We praise God for his faithful service to Him and are thankful for the many others lives blessed during his earthly life. Two scriptures, we believe, would provide a brief example of Bob’s life and his loving desire for each of us.
“This man was instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in the spirit, he spake and taught diligently the things of the Lord, knowing only the baptism of John.” Acts 18:25 KJV.
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 KJV.
Yes, Bob Hornlein, Sr. will be missed by his many friends but now is experiencing the eternal joy of heaven. May our loving God bring you comfort.

Isa.40:4,5 Every valley exalted, every mtn and hill made low:the crooked made straight, rough places plain: and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together.
A great revelation of God's glory walked among us for almost a century. For all the wise words of counsel and prayer, it was the unconditional love of his heart and actions that spoke most eloquently.
God extended His great love to us by delaying the call "Well done my beloved servant and friend, why don't you come home now?"
We have all been enriched beyond measure by having known Robert Hornlein in whatever capacity.
And I have the pink pool ball and blue marble (spanning 50+ yrs) to prove it:)
