Patrick Thomas Connelly, 67, passed away unexpectedly, at his home on December 14th, of a heart attack. He was a 1971 graduate of Shenendehowa High School and a proud alumnus. Often Pat would attend reunions and stay in touch with classmates and former teachers over the years. Pat then graduated from LeMoyne College in 1975. He studied industrial relations and organizational development while remaining active as a Division II men’s soccer player. Post-graduation, Pat worked for Sony Corporation and relocated to San Diego, California.
He worked for many years in the Human Resources sector, administering and educating clients about The Birkman Method. Pat earned the title of an advanced practitioner of The Birkman Method, which became his passion project. While living out west, he became an avid beach volleyball player which he enjoyed. He managed to remain a fan even upon returning to the east coast. In the early ’90s, he reconnected with old friends and neighbors in his hometown of Rexford. He has lived locally ever since and was instrumental in establishing Garnsey Park in Rexford.
Pat is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Nina Connelly, and is survived by his siblings, Brian Connelly (Lise Adams), Rev. Carol Connelly, Susan Primavera (Mark), four nephews, one niece, and many cousins.
Due to the precautions of COVID 19, services will be private, immediate family only, officiated by his sister, Rev. Carol Connelly, at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Glenville, NY.
