Richard L. Dillenbeck

Richard L. Dillenbeck of Ballston Spa, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at his home. Born in Sackets Harbor, NY, June 25, 1927, he was the son of the late William Dillenbeck and Hilda and Peter Morris. He served in the US Navy during World War II and with the US Army in the Korean War. Dick was a truck driver all his life and retired from D&G Auto Parts in Clifton Park. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by 4 brothers. Dick is survived by his wife of 63 years, Albertina Jones Dillenbeck, his children, Kathy Ann Lowery, Bonnie Lee Vidnansky and Robert Alan Dillenbeck (Linda), 7 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10am Saturday, April 30 at Powell Wiswall Cemetery, Plummer Road, Ballston Spa. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.

The family would like to thank all of their friends, the staff from Community Hospice of Saratoga, and the Rubin Dialysis Center, for their compassion and support during Dick’s illness.
