Robert T. Pashley

Robert T. Pashley, of Ballston Spa, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Born in Schenectady, February 26, 1927, he was the son of the late Phillip and Anna Mae Garrison Pashley. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Bob worked as a machinist at General Electric for 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the Kayaderosseras Fish and Game Club where he served as the instructor for hunter safety training for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter and helped provide moose for the moose meat dinners at the club.

Bob lived a good life with his devoted wife, Lucille. He loved going out to eat, finding a good deal and going for rides. He had a great voice and loved to sing. Bob was always a hard worker and instilled this quality in all of his three children. He had an amazing ability to fix anything. He loved spending the winter months in Florida and going back to the home he built in Ballston Spa to spend the summer with his great grandchildren, Emily, Allison and Jake, whom he loved dearly. He will be greatly missed by us all.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Lucille J. Pashley, his daughter, Susan Hommell and her children, Joanna Simard (Jeff), Julie Sue Hommell and Brandon Hommell, his son, David R. Pashley (Annette) and his children, Melanie Efaw (Casey) and Daniel Pashley (Mikey), his son, Bruce P. Pashley and his children, Kristi, Victoria and Geoffrey, his sister in law, Jean Salisbury (Don) and cousin, Ellen VanValkenburg.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
