Sandra J. Austro


Sandra J. Austro 78, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2018. Born in Zeigler, Illinois on August 16, 1940, she was the daughter of Glen and Dorothy Miller.

Sandra met Kazimierz “Mike” Austro while he was in the service and they married on March 4, 1961. She moved to his farm in Ballston Spa where they raised their children. She treasured her family and the memories she created with them.

She was predeceased by her parents Glen and Dorothy Miller, son Michael Austro, and brother Dennis Miller. Sandra is survived by her husband Kazimierz “Mike”, and their daughters Cynthia Howe, Christine Wojtowecz and Linda Marcel (Kevin Chase); daughter in law Sue Austro; grandchildren Jessica, Shane, Kayla, Dakota, Jeremy, Jacob, Taylor, Jessica, Rachel, and James; siblings Charles Miller, Larry Miller and Janice Ross; several nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs Fefe and Peanut.

A private family service will be held.

Memorial contributions in memory of Sandra may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
