Vicki Lee Springer

Vicki Lee Springer was born in love to Donald and Alice Springer of Galway, NY on April 30, 1968. She was born at Saratoga Hospital, and at a time when the world understood little about her. But the world was about to find out. Vicki became a trailblazer, overcoming many challenges and obstacles. She had an amazing ability to make friends everywhere she went. A trait inherited by her late mother, Alice.

After graduating High School in 1987, Vicki went on to work for ARC industries. She made many friends and long lasting relationships throughout her life. She could always be found with a smile, some tie dye, and coloring or working in her books. Vicki never shied away from sharing her love for Jesus. She was known for her love for her family, music, her great dance skills, and was also an avid bowler and swimmer. She was a long time member of the Special Olympics bowling and swim team.

On December 5, 2021, Vicki went to be with her Lord and Savior. She is predeceased by her loving mother, Alice. The two were linked heart, and mind. Survivors include her dedicated and loving father, Donald Springer of Galway; brother Donnie Springer (Tina) of Loris, SC; sister Betty Edwards (Jeff) of Ellenboro, NC; nieces and nephews, Danielle Springer of Myrtle Beach, SC, Heather Robinson (Ansel) of Kings Mountain, NC, Jason Springer (Leeza) of Bloomfield, NJ, Jeffrey Edwards (Megan) of Ellenboro, NC, and Jacob Edwards (Angela) of Middle Grove, NY. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews that she was so very fond of, and who loved her so much. As well as aunts, uncles, cousins, house staff, and housemates.

Vicki’s love for God, her family, and life were contagious. She has left an impression on many hearts that will last more than a lifetime. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts!

A private family service will be held. Memorial contributions in memory of Vicki may be made to the Meals on Wheels Program. Please make the check payable to Saratoga County Office for the Aging, 152 West High Street, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.

Vicki was a beautiful soul, I worked with her for nearly two years. She gave the best hugs and always knew how to make myself and the other staff laugh. I will always look back fondly on my memories with her and the many, many notes of encouragement she gave me, of which she always was sure to sign “Love You, Vicki S.” I’m truly blessed to have known her. Rest In Peace Vicki Lee ❤️
