Virginia M. O'Connor

Virginia M. O’Connor 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Born in Slingerlands, NY on December 6, 1930, she was the daughter of John and Sadie Oliver.

Virginia was a dental assistant for Dr. McCanty in Ballston Spa for over 20 years. After her retirement, she cared for her grandchildren, treasuring the time she spent with them.

She was predeceased by her husband Frank O’Connor and her 12 siblings. Virginia is survived by her children Timothy O’Connor (Kimberly) of Lake Mary, FL and Linda Decker (Stephen) of Saratoga Springs; grandchildren Kendall O’ Connor Giardina (Frank), Carrigan O’Connor, Jeffrey Decker and Timothy Decker; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 31 from 9am to 10am at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. A service will be held at 10am. Burial will follow in the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, Schuylerville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Virginia may be made to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6040 County Farm Road, Ballston Spa, NY 12020.
