On August 27, 1996 on his 48th birthday he married Gaynell P Bliss. George is survived by his large family that consisted of Gaynell, his wife of almost 24 years; his sisters Anna Mae (Ken) Clark of Ballston Spa and Margaret Palmer of Ballston Spa; his sons John and Bobby Bliss both of Albany; his daughters Desiree Runyon of Schenectady, Darcy (Jennifer) Bliss of Hudson Falls, Sue-Ann Palmer of Rutland, VT, Dawn (Don) Brady of Argyle, and Beth Ann and Billy. Had a lot of laughs and good times over the years. You helped my father, Roman, a lot on the farm. You had great parents and were one fun loving and wonderful person.

George was a great man and a wonderful friend. We’re so thankful for his help on our farm over the years and we’ll miss him terribly. Making hay will never be the same without him around.
